Good food begins with quality in the ingredients, the processes and the care behind every preparation. For over six decades, Gokhale Bandhu has upheld this belief while building a legacy rooted in authenticity, consistency and trust.
Founded in 1963 in Amravati by Shri Ashok Gokhale, the business quickly became known for its honest flavours and dependable taste. A few years later, his brother, Shri Aniruddha Gokhale, joined as a partner, strengthening the foundation of the enterprise and supporting its continued growth. In 2019, the legacy entered its next chapter with the establishment of a Pune manufacturing unit under the leadership of his daughter, Gauri Gokhale (Padhye), marking the transition to the second generation while remaining deeply connected to its traditional roots.
Gokhale Bandhu specialises in traditional Maharashtrian snacks and sweets, seasonal specialities, festive dispatches and vegetarian catering services. Every product is prepared using refined groundnut oil and pure ghee, following the same ingredient standards found in traditional Maharashtrian homes. No artificial colours or preservatives are used, ensuring clean and honest food that reflects time-tested recipes. From Sankranti and Ganpati to Diwali and family celebrations, we continue to partner with households and communities for their most cherished occasions.
The Pune manufacturing unit operates with a daily production capacity of approximately 80 kg, enabling small-batch preparation and close supervision of quality. A combination of custom-built machinery, including specialised chakali-making equipment and high-quality fryers, ensures consistency in shape, texture and taste while preserving the handmade character of each product.
For 63 years, Gokhale Bandhu has remained committed to delivering the warmth of Maharashtrian kitchens to homes across generations, carrying forward a tradition of flavour and enduring trust.
